Public Hearing - Zoning Bylaw Amendment

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ZONING BYLAW AMENDMENT

District of Fort St. James Municipal Council intends to adopt a bylaw to amend “District of Fort St. James Zoning Bylaw No. 738, 2001.” The proposed bylaw includes changes to land uses and/or density to properties within the following existing zones within the District of Fort St. James: (RU-2) Rural Residential (RU-3) Rural Residential (I-1) Industrial – Service (I-2) Industrial – Heavy (P-1) Public – Parks and Schools (P-2) Institutional

Copies of the proposed bylaw may be viewed at the District Office, 477 W. Stuart Drive, Fort St. James, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except statutory holidays. The proposed bylaw may also be viewed online at: http://stuartnechako.ca/fort-st-james/municipal-hall/bylaws/.

A public hearing on the bylaw will be held in Council Chambers at the District Office at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. All persons who believe their interest in property will be affected by the proposed bylaw shall be given an opportunity to be heard at that time.
