Major Highways
The Village rests on a two-lane section of the Yellowhead Route (Highway 16), the northern Trans-Provincial Highway. At Prince George 160 km east, Highway 97 connects Vancouver and the U.S. Border to Prince George and Northern British Columbia.
The community of Fraser Lake is situated on the Yellowhead Highway 16, approximately 160 km west of Prince George and 570 km east of Prince Rupert. The junction located at Prince George, merges Highway 16, which continues east by southeast toward Jasper, and Highway 97, which runs north to Dawson Creek and further south to the Southern Interior and Vancouver.
Prince George is less than a two hour journey by car from Fraser Lake offers several daily non-stop flights to Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and many other national and international destinations.
