WELCOME TO NECHAKO LODGE & AVIATION…. located near Vanderhoof in central British Columbia, on the secluded shores of Knewstubb Lake near Kenney Dam. Despite its remote setting, the lodge is only a short drive from the bustling city of Prince George … and daily flights connect BC’s “Capital of the North” with the Vancouver international airport.

At Nechako Lodge you will find comfortable accommodations to suit any taste or budget with 4 self-contained cabins and 5 full service guestrooms, all offer beautiful views of the lake and the natural surroundings. Camping spots are available for RV’s and tents - right by the boat launch. Don’t feel like cooking - just let Elisabeth know and she will be happy to serve you a gourmet supper, breakfast, or lunch.

Nechako Lodge is the eastern gateway to the vast, untouched wilderness of Tweedsmuir Park, the largest provincial park in British Columbia.

Nechako Aviation is their float-plane charter service and is one of only a few commercial carriers licensed to transport customers into this remote park. Nechako Lodge & Aviation holds recreational guiding and angling permits for North and South Tweedsmuir Park as well as Entiako Park & Protected Area. As BC licensed angle guides they are able to provide their guests with a wide variety of wilderness fishing opportunities in the Upper Nechako Watershed.
