The Village of Fraser Lake has again been contacted by “The Dimestore Fisherman” —-an action packed half hour television program that airs weekly at various times throughout North America. The show’s home base is Calgary, Alberta and the program features tours of various lakes, oceans, rivers and ice fishing locations.
Episodes focus on exposing the history, cultural and recreational aspects of the great Canadian communities they visit. Information is available on their website http://www.dimestorefishermen.com.
Please remember that vehicles are not to be parked on Village streets between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm any day of the week during the winter months.
Garbage pickup over the holidays
Due to statutory holidays, there will be no garbage pick-up in the Municipality of Fraser Lake on:
FRI, DEC 25th
MON, DEC 28th
FRI, JAN 1st
Environmental Assessment Document Village of Fraser Lake Southside Industrial Park Project
The project we plan to develop is the only commercial/light industrial land available within the municipality at this time. There is a shortage of commercial/light industrial property within the surrounding communities and the restrictions of the Agricultural Land Reserve makes this shortage even more severe in the rural areas of the regional District of Bulkley Nechako.
From May 1st to Sept. 30th each year we limit watering of trees, shrubs, flowers or vegetable gardens using a hose-connected or an automated in-ground sprinkler to the hours of 4AM to 9AM or 7PM to 10PM on any day of the week. Watering of lawns using hose-connected or automatic in-ground sprinklers will be limited to 4AM to 9AM or 7PM to 10PM on odd numbered days for odd numbered addresses and on even days for even numbered addresses.
